Dr. Graeme Massey D.C

My formal education started at the University of Wales Bangor, where I studied Sports Science favouring the kinesiological aspect of the degree.  Although I really enjoyed the laboratory work, I favoured a more clinical setting especially working with patients,  so I changed my career direction from Sports Science to Chiropractic Science, and  I enrolled as a student at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth.  Along with taking the Gonstead Presidents position for 4 years, I was awarded student of the year in 2002 from the Gonstead Clinical studies society (GCSS).  In 2003 I graduated  from the AECC with second BSc (Hons) in Chiropractic Sciences and an MSc in Chiropractic.

In addition to my clinical year spent at the AECC, I regularly took part in many mission trips in El Salvador adjusting thousands of people, military and citizens of San Salvador; where I not only gained an immense amount of experience but perfected even more so my adjusting skills to the highest level expected from a Gonstead Chiropractic Doctor.

Following my Graduation from the AECC I then moved away to America to complete my internship  under the guidance of Dr. James Warlick  in Phoenix Arizona  at one of the busiest Gonstead Chiropractic Clinics in the world. In Addition I also became one of only two Chiropractors in Europe to obtain a Gonstead Extremity Certification (GCEC) in Peoria Illinois U.S.A under the guidance of Dr. Mark Werking which helps greatly with athletes of most sports.

During university and after, I completed every seminar taught by the worlds leading Chiropractors including; Dr’s. Alex Cox, Doug Cox, Jim Stoner, Bill Droessler, Ray Clinton, Larry Troxell, David  and Steven Rowe, Mark Lopes,  Steven Tanaka, Jose Lara and Mike Rosenblaum to name but a few. It was thanks to these great Chiropractor’s influence that I could offer this great technique through the authentic transmissions of its principles from generation to generation.

Finally, my close association  in 2003 with Dr. J. P. Meeserman of AC Milan’s Milan Lab and Dr. Bruno Demichelis of Chelsea F.C helped my understanding of prevention of injuries in professional footballers and other high profile athletes.

In 2003, I set up Manchester City’s first full time Chiropractic Clinic with the aim of building a solid referral Chiropractic clinic in the North West of England,  and to support my good friend Dr Antoni Jackabowski in Harley Street London.  My  passion for Chiropractic and optimal health is well known throughout the city, which is why is see more referrals than ever.   (see testimonies).

At present,  now 20 years in private practice most of my spare time is now spent helping to raise my son  and run my busy practice.   My exercise is now limited to Judo, Climbing, Running and Cycling with the odd trip away mountaineering/skiing. I am also half way through climbing all 7  highest summits for the TLC  masonic charity on each continent,  however,  this is proving to be harder than I thought, not only in effort but time away from my family and practice….lets see what happens ;;)))

For anyone wondering why I decided to study Gonstead Chiropractic above any other types of Chiropractic, is because I believed it would make me a much better Chiropractor.  I also wanted to practice a well established proven method of Chiropractic. It was definitely the road less travelled by students and still is, and it doesn’t allow for “short cuts.”

Graeme Massey, Doctor of Chiropractic
