After filling in a questionaire, you will be taken into the Adjusting room with the Doctor for a Consultation. At this point you will be able to elaborate on your complaint/s. Following the consultation an in depth analysis will be carried out which will include; Neurological, Orthopedic, Visceral(when needed), Instrument readings(thermography, SEMG) and Chiropractic Spinal/extremity examination. Furthermore, when indicated urinanalysis and blood testing can be done through referral. At this point the doctor will have a much better idea of the complaint, after which a decision will be made whether or not Chiropractic Care will be the correct method of treatment. (Cost £45, extra for blood and urine testing)
Should you be taken on as a patient of the clinic a fullspine 14/36 weightbearing radiograph will be taken in the clinic to help diagnose your complaint accurately and specifically. The reasons for taking this type of radiograph is as follows; to eliminate congenital anomalies, pathologies and fractures, the extent of degeneration and the best direction to be specifically adjusted. (cost £40-£120 depending on the size of the x-ray)
After the above protocol is finished an in depth explaination will be given to the Chiropractic patient. This will include; A diagnosis (based on fact not personal opinion or guess work), management/treatment frequency and duration, and total cost.
The next step will be, Chiropractic specific adjustments (not manipulation) followed by any adjuctive procedures and advice. Adjustments range from £31 to £40 depending on the patient's choice of payment.
